Locked · illustration
// what it aims to do

A vault that shows the door,
not the contents.

Time-locked

You pick an unlock time when you open a vault. The rule is meant to be enforced by an on-chain program, not by a promise from us.

Balance behind a commitment

The design goal is that the vault stores a commitment to your balance rather than the balance itself, so a casual observer cannot read it off the chain.

Non-custodial

Withdrawal would require a proof only you can produce, and only after the unlock time. We would hold no keys and no funds.

// how it works (design sketch)

Four movements.

This is the intended mechanism, shown as an illustration. It describes a design we want to build, not a product you can use today.

Deposit

Send SOL or an SPL token into a vault, choosing an unlock time.

Entry tx visible

Commit

Your balance is folded into an opaque commitment. Only you hold the secret that opens it.

Balance hidden

Wait

The vault stays sealed. The program refuses any withdrawal before the unlock time.

Unlock time public

Unseal

After unlock, prove you own the commitment and withdraw to an address you choose.

Exit tx visible

What is hidden. What is not.

Vaultwraith aims to reduce linkability of what sits in a vault. It does not hide your identity, and it does not make you anonymous.

Hidden by design goal

intended, unaudited, unbuilt
  • The amount held in a vault at any moment.
  • The link between a specific deposit and a specific later withdrawal (to the extent the design achieves it).
  • The opening secret, which never leaves your device.

Stays public

on any Solana explorer
  • The vault program and its rules, including the unlock time.
  • That a vault exists, and that some transaction interacted with the program.
  • Your wallet address, fees paid, and transaction timing. Timing alone can leak information.

Known limitations — please read

  • Not built, not audited. Vaultwraith is an early idea. There is no deployed program, no audit, and no working app. Do not deposit real funds anywhere on the strength of this page.
  • Linkability, not anonymity. The goal is to make a balance harder to read and link. It does not conceal who you are. Wallet addresses, fees, timing and off-chain behaviour can still identify you.
  • Entry and exit can leak. If a deposit or withdrawal is a distinct, unusual amount, or happens at a distinctive time, observers may be able to match them. Small user counts make this worse.
  • Lose the secret, lose the funds. A non-custodial vault with a private opening secret cannot be recovered by anyone if that secret is lost.
  • Time is approximate. On-chain time comes from the network clock. Unlock timing would be accurate to the chain, not to the second.
  • Cryptography risk. Zero-knowledge and commitment schemes are subtle. A bug could expose balances or lock funds permanently.
  • Not affiliated. Not affiliated with or endorsed by pump.fun, the Solana Foundation, or any other project. You are responsible for following the laws and tax rules where you live.
